Free Money for College - July 10, 2009

AFRICAN AMERICAN STUDENTS ARE NOT APPLYING FOR SCHOLARSHIPS:

Even if you do not have a college-aged child at home, please share this with someone who does, and to anyone and everyone that comes to mind. Though there are a number of companies and organizations that have donated money for scholarships to African Americans, a great deal of the money is being returned because of a lack of interest or awareness.

Take the initiative to get your children involved. Money shouldn't be returned to donating companies because we fail to apply for it.

Please pass this information on to family members, nieces, nephews, friends with children etc. We must get the word out that money is available. If you are a college student or getting ready to become one, you probably already know how useful additional money can be.

Here's what people are saying about it, in several languages:

Hey! This music and Robert's voice are just blowing my mind away. I never felt this way. You will work your hips and dance all night under this hot music. It is smooth magic exciting. Can you see the CD? Grab the CD if it is available still.

author: Enké
This is a good album. Modern sounding, yet with an old school feel. I bought it with the expectation of it being a house album. Though there are house tracks on there, there are also some nice soul tracks on there also. My favourite tracks however are the house tracks. Robert's voice is perfect for soulful house. Good album in all.

author: Oluremi
I listened to this CD from beginning to end and enjoyed every minute of it. Robert gets the party started right off the bat with "All Night." And the title track is HOT. I like the way he mixes it up with different styles and beats. I even liked the house tracks--and I'm not a big house fan. This guy is headed for the big time: remember you heard it from me first.

Eine wunderschöne CD, die zum Entspannen, Träumen, Mitsingen anregt und in jedem Fall die Stimmung hebt - danke für die so schöne Musik!

This is a good opportunity, pass it on to others.

Harvard University announced over the weekend that from now on undergraduate students from low-income families will pay no tuition. In making the announcement, Harvard's president Lawrence H. Summers said, "When only 10 percent of the students in Elite higher education come from families in lower half of the income distribution, we are not doing enough We are not doing enough in bringing elite higher education to the lower half of the income distribution."

If you know of a family earning less than $60,000 a year with an honor student graduating from high school soon, Harvard University wants to pay the tuition. The prestigious university recently announced that from now on undergraduate students from low-income families can go to Harvard for free...no tuition and no student loans!

To find out more about Harvard offering free tuition for families making less than $60,000 a year visit Harvard's financial aid website at:
